CHENNAI, FEB. 8. AG (Andhra Pradesh) fought back wonderfully well after being 0-2 down to win 3-2 against AG (Tamil Nadu) in the semifinal of the South Zone Indian Audit & Accounts Department badminton tournament at the Nehru Indoor Stadium here on Tuesday. In the final, AG (Andhra Pradesh) will meet AG (Kerala). Sanjeev Saluja, Principal Accountant General (Civil Audit), Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, inaugurated the tournament.
AG (Kerala) bt AG (Karnataka) 3-1 (Pawan Kumar bt Krishna Kumar 15-6, 15-3; Maheen lost to Sunil Kumar 11-15, 3-15; Firoz Shah/Pawan Kumar bt Hemanth Kumar/Krishna Kumar 15-3, 15-1; Firoz Shah bt Hemanth Kumar 15-2, 15-1).
