THRISSUR, FEB. 8. The Child Line activists in the district have filed a complaint before the Mala police alleging that three families in the area are engaging boys from Tamil Nadu as domestic workers. The families had actually promised the police and the Child Line office-bearers that they would produce the boys before the Chief Judicial Magistrate on Monday. The families had given a `Kacheett' (bond) to the Child Line activists in this regard and the police when they had gone to those houses last Saturday. But, when the families did not produce the boys till Monday evening, the police and Child Line activists again went to the houses this morning. However, by then the boys had been `shifted' from the houses. The Child Line office-bearers said they would be filing a complaint before the Chief Judicial Magistrate also against the families, apart from the police complaint.
