CHENNAI, FEB.8. The sky will be partly cloudy on Wednesday with the minimum temperature around 20 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 30.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.6. At Meenambakkam, the corresponding temperatures were 30.9 degrees Celsius and 20.4. Humidity levels were 66 and 64 per cent.

Medical camp

The N.S.S. Unit of the Institute of Printing Technology in Taramani recently organised a 10-day camp at Karappakkam, where the volunteers conducted a medical programme, and technical training for book binding and making paper covers for women's self help groups.

The students renovated and whitewashed three buildings of the Karrappakkam Panchayat Union Middle School Campus and conducted an AIDS awareness rally.
