Suspicious death

The body of S. Chandraiah, an attender with the MCH, was found on the Byramalguda road at Saroornagar under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday. The body bore head injuries. He was a resident of Badangpet. The family members of Chandraiah (50), alleged that two persons --Amsamma and Yadaiah, both casual labourers with MCH, had murdered Chandraiah due to previous enmity. The victim had left home on Monday morning and did not return.

Woman killed

Suspecting his wife, Kaipula's fidelity, Niranjan Aiyyar, reportedly attacked her with a stick killing her instantly on Monday. The couple had migrated to the city from Orissa a couple of months ago and were residing at Damari Pochampally. Both were working as labourers.

Woman ends life

Unable to bear dowry harassment, a 23-year-old woman, M. Kali Prasanna, reportedly hanged herself from the ceiling at her residence at Lingampally on Monday. She was the wife of Murali Krishna. The couple got married in 1998.

Security guard found hanging

A security guard, Ch. Venkata Ramana (54) of Qutbullahpur was found hanging from a tree at Kompally on Monday. It is learnt that recently, Ramana was accused of a theft that took place in the firm where he was working.
