THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 8. A 40-year-old man and his two daughters were found dead in their house at Kudappanakunnu in Peroorkada police station limits on Tuesday. The victim's wife has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital. The deceased were identified as Jayan (40) and his daughters, Athira (12) and Arya (9). The police suspect the family to have committed suicide by eating ice-cream laced with poison. The condition of Jayan's wife, Usha Kumari, was stated to be serious. The Circle Inspector, Peroorkada, M. Radhakrishnan, said a note found in the house indicated that the family had consumed poison to escape a debt trap.
