Adoptive families to form association

COIMBATORE, FEB. 8. Parents of adopted children in Coimbatore have decided to form an association of families of their kind, and formally inaugurate it on February 12.

At a meeting on August 7, the parents decided that the new association would associate itself with `SuDatta,' an association of a similar kind functioning in Chennai. A steering committee has been formed to coordinate the inaugural meeting at which the office-bearers of the Coimbatore Chapter would be installed.

The inauguration would be held at the Saraswathy Natarajan Thirumana Mandapam, Olympus, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore-641045 (Telephone: 2314149).

The District Social Welfare Officer, Sherin Philip, would preside over the function.
