NEW DELHI, FEB. 8. Three persons, who were allegedly involved in the sensational kidnapping of Kislay Kaushal, a school student from Patna, were arrested near PVR Saket cinema hall in South Delhi on Monday. The prime accused in the case is reported to have fled the city by the North-East Express. The police recently received a tip-off that one of the main accused in the case, Vicky Thakur, had fled to Delhi after the arrest of his mother and sister. The alleged brain behind the kidnapping, Chunnu Thakur, is already in Hajipur Jail. His accomplices allegedly kidnapped Kislay in a Tata Sumo on January 19 when he was going to school. The police team, led by Inspector Rajender Singh, came to know that three accomplices of Chunnu Thakur Brijesh, Rajesh and Rajiv Chaudhary would come to PVR Saket on Monday evening. Subsequently, all three were arrested. The police said that during interrogation, the suspects confessed to their links with Vicky Thakur and said they were involved in the kidnapping of Kislay. They allegedly disclosed that they arranged for Vicky's stay in Delhi, and had procured air and train tickets for him. The police said Vicky, his wife Mona, and the brother of Chunnu Thakur, Subodh, reached Delhi on January 5 by the Rajdhani Express. Vicky then asked Brijesh, who was then not in the city , to rent a house to keep Kislay there. Brijesh reached Delhi on January 10 and rented a house at Khayala with the help of Rajiv. On the same day Vicky went to Patna and allegedly kidnapped Kislay. Vicky returned to Delhi on January 28 and checked in at Chanakya hotel and then moved to Swiston, at Paharganj, with the help of Rajesh, who runs a travel agency there. The police said Rajesh got an air ticket for Vicky to Patna in the name of Pankaj Srivastava for the same day, but the flight was cancelled for some reason. After Vicky came to know about the arrest of his mother and sister, he moved to the house in Khayala . He kept changing his hideouts, but was forced to release Kislay on February 2 due to pressure by the police and "political circles." The police said Brijesh was a contract killer and had good links with certain politicians, whose names have not been revealed. Rajesh and Rajiv, a teacher by profession, are schoolmates. The police have informed their Patna counterparts about the arrests.
