JAC threatens to step up stir

HYDERABAD, FEB. 9. The Joint Action Committee of employees, teachers and workers has threatened to intensify its stir if the Government continues to neglect their genuine demands.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the JAC chairman, B. V. Subba Rao, the co-chairman, B. Mohan Reddy, and the deputy secretary-general, D. Sudhakar, flayed the "adamant attitude" of the Government and announced launch of a struggle. As part of the agitational programme, regional conferences would be held at Tirupati and Warangal on February 10 and 17. This would be followed by `Chalo Assembly' on February 24.
