Hearing adjourned

KOLKATA, FEB. 10. The Calcutta High Court today adjourned the hearing till Tuesday on the revisional plea challenging the criminal proceeding against Rajendra Singh Lodha, who had been bequeathed the Rs. 5,000-crore M. P. Birla empire. Wrapping up his argument after three days of submission on behalf of Mr. Lodha, counsel Santhi Bhusan said Late Priyamvada Birla had spent a lonely life during her last days and the Birla family members hardly visited her before she breathed her last. She had intense hate for the Birlas, who ignored her in many ways, Mr. Bhusan said. — UNI
