KURNOOL, FEB. 10. The Collector, Vikas Raj, reviewed the arrangements for Sivaratri festival at 12 Shivite shrines in the district. Mr. Vikas Raj asked the temple authorities to give priority for sanitation and drinking water arrangements for pilgrims. He said the arrangements should match the scale of pushkaram arrangements last year. He said the drinking water should be chlorinated properly and provision should be made for supplying water to pilgrims along the temple route. The meeting discussed the low voltage problem in the temple city. The Transco officials explained that faulty wiring system in the temple was the main reason for the low voltage.
