Quality service for pilgrims is EO's aim

TIRUPATI. Feb. 10. A.P.V.N. Sarma, who took charge on Thursday from Ajay Kallam after a brief ceremony in Lord Venkateswara's temple has started in right earnest to acquaint himself with the typical and distinct issues which dominated the TTD's agenda during the last one year.
At a formal media meet in the evening, Mr. Sarma used the occasion to listen to the views of the media on a range of sensitive issues like the demolition of the `Veyyi Kalla Mandapam', the abortive move by the TTD Trust Board to divert its surplus, reserve funds to private banks and non-banking financial institutions, streamlining of the marketing wing and so on.
Mr. Sarma said that he would certainly tread with caution on all ticklish issues with the ultimate objective of providing quality service to pilgrims and to the institution as a whole.
