THRISSUR, FEB. 10. Four persons were arrested at Pudukkad for allegedly storing crackers and gunpowder more than the limit prescribed in the licence. The Pudukkad CI, Shaju Paul, said the arrested persons were Kizhakkottu Thankam, 55, Thandassery Devaki, 60, Pottanattu Narayanan, 43, and Pandarapparambil Haridasan, 33. The police said three of them had licence to manufacture crackers, but were found to possess crackers and gunpowder more than the prescribed limit.
