Dilip Thomas nominated Asian Games Technical Delegate

CHENNAI, FEB. 10. Dilip Thomas, an avid golfer and administrator, has been nominated as the Technical Delegate by the Doha Asian Games Organising Committee for next year's Asian Games at Doha.

Dilip Thomas who is the Secretary-General of the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation is the first Indian to be appointed as the TD for golf in the Asian Games held outside of India.

It must be mentioned that golf became an Asiad discipline during the 1982 Games in New Delhi. The Doha Asian Games is scheduled to be held in December 2006.
