Expo to harness supply potential

CHENNAI, FEB. 10 . A supply chain exposition will be held by Chennai Trade Centre on February 19 and 20 at Chennai Trade Centre. Buyers looking for competitive suppliers are participating in the exhibition, which will Ashok Leyland, Caterpillar, Audco India, TVS and the Simpson group of companies.

The aim of the exposition is to bring together buyers and suppliers of products and services.

The participating companies will display their components and the sub-assemblies that are to be outsourced. There will also be a one-to-one meet between the small-scale and large-scale industries.

The Small Industries Service Institute will provide technical support to the Indian Institute of Materials Management, which is organising the exposition. A cluster group of auto-component industries that are financially supported by SISI will also participate. A seminar on challenges and opportunities in business process outsourcing will be held on February 18.
