Gold chain snatched

CHENNAI, FEB. 10. A G old chain weighing five sovereigns was snatched at knifepoint from a woman passenger at St. Thomas Mount Station on Wednesday night.

According to police, the victim, Noorjahan, with her husband Mohammed Bayas came to the station to board the train. An unidentified person, who came near the woman, brandished a knife and snatched the chain from her and escaped under cover of darkness.
