Woman run over

CHENNAI, FEB. 10. A 52-year-old woman, who was working in the Passport office at Shastri Bhavan, Nungambakkam, died after she was run over by a lorry at Porur on Wednesday evening.

According to the police, Chitra was returning home with her husband in a two-wheeler. Near Porur junction the vehicle was involved in an accident with a lorry. Chitra, who was in the pillion, was thrown off and was run over by the lorry.
