Woman kills leopard
JAMMU,
FEB. 10.
Displaying extraordinary courage, a woman killed a leopard after it attacked her husband in Rajouri district of Jammu.
Adnan Hussain, a resident of Bari village of Darhal tehsil of Rajouri district, had gone to the shed adjoining his house to bring grass last night when he was attacked by a leopard which had strayed from the forest and was hiding there.
Raising an alarm, Hussain covered the mouth of the leopard with a blanket that he was carrying. On hearing the noise, Hussain's wife, Somi Begum, rushed to the shed and axed the animal to death. — PTI
