Power theft: cases registered

BANGALORE, FEB. 10. The Vigilance wing of the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company has registered 35 criminal cases in raids against alleged power theft in Chikkatekalli, Doddatekalli and Bhaktharahalli villages.

A press release from the Superintendent of Police, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Vigilance), H.S. Venkatesh, pointed out that the villages, coming under Chickaballapur vigilance police station were found to have "theft-prone installations."

The raid was conducted on Tuesday.
