KOCHI, FEB. 10. The Cochin Flower Show-2005 was inaugurated by the Fisheries and Sports Minister, Dominic Presentation, at Subhash Park on Thursday evening. The District Collector, A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish, presided over the meeting. The Corporation Deputy Mayor, A.V. George, Saraswathy Menon and Francis Chacko spoke. This year's show includes vegetable carving by Shino, Kottayam, Choice, Aluva and Regi, Thaikkattussery, a collection of about 200 cacti plants grown by Kakkassery Verghese, bonsais from the collection of C.C. Sebastian, Chembakavalli, Sabu and George Adimuri and aquarium plants arranged by Babu, Cochin Blossom. The show will be held from 9 a.m.to 9 p.m. every day till February 14.
