TIRUCHI, FEB.11 . The Tiruchi zone of the Confederation of Indian Industry will organise an agro fair at Periyar Maniammai College of Engineering, Vallam, Thanjavur, on February 12 and 13. Its chairman, P. V. Kannan, told newsmen here recently that the meet was planned to promote two-way relationship between the agriculture sector and industry, and provide a perfect platform to showcase agriculture products, services, marketing implements and infrastructure. The exposition, along with conference, would feature product display of medicinal plants, pesticides, tractor, tiller and irrigation equipments, solar equipments, horticulture, research institute products. The event would provide an opportunity for the industry to understand the needs and requirements of the industry and the farmers.
