Kolkata outfit DTDC Tollygunge Agragami held former Durand Cup champion Mahindra United 1-1 in the IX National Football League match at the Cooperage here on Friday.
Tollygunge drew first blood in the 10th minute when its striker Surajit Bose's fine floater from the right beat the Mahindra custodian Sandip Nandy.
However, the Kolkata outfit's joy was short-lived as Mahindra's striker Rodrigo de Almeida scored the equaliser two minutes later off L. Sukumar Singh's free kick.
Mahindra made a good move when its winger Flavio Rodrigues, held on to the ball for too long before his cross was intercepted by Tollygunge custodian Arindam Ghosh. — PTI
