Minister blamed for unrest at port
KAKINADA,
FEB. 11.
The district unit of the CITU blamed the Minister for Technical Education, N. Narasimha Reddy, who is also the president of the State HMS, for the continued injustice being meted out to the Anchorage Port workers. Duvva Seshu Babji, secretary, and Vijaya Kumar, treasurer of the CITU, told newsmen here on Friday that the Minister during his recent visit promised the port workers that all the problems, which are the root cause for the present unrest, would be resolved. Besides, he made a statement declaring Mutha Gopalakrishna, MLA, as the honorary president of the HMS union, with an assurance that he would take care of the interests of the Anchorage Port workers.
