Emissaries in the firing line

By Our Staff Reporter

WARANGAL, FEB. 11. The Superintendent of Police, M Stephen Ravindra, has said the Maoist representatives -- Gaddar, Varavara Rao and Kalyana Rao -- should own responsibility for extremist killings in the district.

The SP said the naxal groups were killing innocent people branding them police informers and destroying public property.

"Varavara Rao should own responsibility for the recent blasting of the mandal parishad development office at Govindaraopet.

He must also be held responsible for all future acts of naxals,'' he contended.

He appealed to students and youth not to associate themselves with any organisation that had links with extremist groups.
