CHENNAI, FEB. 11. Bruce M. Quinn, a political officer, attached to the United States Consulate here was admitted to a private hospital with injuries on both legs, after his car was hit by a tipper lorry at Abhiramapuram on Thursday night. According to police, around 11.30 p.m. Mr. Quinn was coming from C.P. Ramaswamy Road. While nearing a signal point, a tipper lorry came from the R.A. Puram 2nd Main Road and hit the diplomat's car. He he sustained injuries on both his legs. He was admitted to the private hospital in Thousand Lights area. Police arrested the tipper lorry driver, N. Durai of Kadapperi, near Tambaram.
