CHENNAI, FEB. 11. O ne-way traffic will be followed in a portion of the Cenotaph Road from the Chitharanjan Salai junction to the Turn Bulls Salai junction from Saturday. A police press note issued today said that the arrangement was worked out to decongest traffic on Chamiers Road and Cenotaph Road. This is the second time in a month the traffic arrangement there has been changed. Vehicles coming from Chitharanjan Salai and taking the traffic-regulated stretch of the Cenotaph Road will have to travel via Chitharanjan Salai, TTK Salai, Chamiers Road and Turn Bulls Road to reach Kotturpuram. Vehicles coming from the junction of TTK Salai and taking Chitharanjan Salai will take the route via Sri Ram North Street and Cenotaph Road Second Lane to reach Cenotaph Road. The police will study the arrangement for a month.
