HYDERABAD, FEB. 11. The Narayana group of institutions is setting up six concept schools in the city with an aim to provide international standard education at an affordable fee. D.V. Rao, vice-chairman, Narayana group, told the reporters here on Friday that the basic philosophy was to inculcate creativity using modern technologies and reducing the burden of books on students. The course designed is global in nature and would bring out the innate skills of each student. A key feature of the course is the Smart Class Programme that aims at improving the performance of students. He said IIT foundation course would be given from 8th class. Dr. Rao said the schools would be opened in Ameerpet, West Marredpally, Kukatpally, Tarnaka, Dilsukhnagar and Narayanguda from the ensuing academic year. The fee for the pre-primary programme would be Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 14,000 for classes one to five. For students of classes 5th to 10th, the fee would be Rs. 16,000.
