DUTA bandh total

NEW DELHI,
FEB. 12.
The bandh called by the Delhi University Teachers' Association (DUTA) in protest against the attack on Zakir Husain lecturer S.A.R. Geelani was observed in toto today, with teaching remaining suspended in almost all college.
In support of DUTA's demand for a judicial enquiry into the incident and security for Mr. Geelani's family and financial assistance to them, teachers stayed away from classes. The DUTA's bandh call was announced following a meeting of the Association's general body on Friday.
