CUDDAPAH, FEB. 13. A woman allegedly stabbed a 60-year-old woman, Venkatamma, to death and inflicted grievous cut wounds on the latter's grand daughter, Sunitha (14), in L. Vengamambapuram village in Nandalur mandal around Saturday midnight. The assailant, Indiramma (45), belonging to the same village, later disposed off the blood-stained clothes and knife and fled, according to the Vontimitta Circle Inspector, Kesava Reddy. Venkatamma died on way of hospital and Sunitha was admitted to Ruia hospital at Tirupati, the CI added. A minor altercation some time ago on a pathway to Venkatamma's house was suspected to be the motive behind the fatal attack.
