Are we on track, YSR asks Kanda

HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has directed the Chief Secretary, Mohan Kanda, to examine the extent to which governance is proceeding in the direction of priorities set by the Government. He has also asked Mr. Kanda to study whether disposal of files in the Secretariat is going on at the expected pace. He has been asked to review implementation of the citizens' charter in municipalities, the Transport Department and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
