ISLAMABAD, FEB. 15. Pakistan's ace bowler Shoaib Akhtar will appear before Pakistan Cricket Board's disciplinary committee on Thursday to explain three charges against him ahead of the national team's crucial tour to India, an official said. The board has taken serious note of Akhtar's alleged visit to nightclubs during a tour of Australia, his late arrival to Pakistan after he was ruled out due to a hamstring injury midway through the triangular series and his statements soon after he returned home. Akhtar has been summoned by the board's four-member disciplinary committee for Thursday, two days before it announces the team for the three-tests and five one-day internationals against India, starting in the first week of March. ``He (Akhtar) has been summoned to appear before the committee at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore,'' Asghar Haider, secretary of the committee, said in a statement on Tuesday.
