South Africa climbs to fifth in ODI rankings

LONDON, FEB. 15. The 4-1 win over England in the one-day series helped South Africa overtake the former in the LG ICC ODI table, while its spearhead Shaun Pollock grabbed the second spot in the ODI bowling rankings. Meanwhile, India continued to languish in eighth place.

South Africa climbed from seventh to fifth place thanks to its series win which boosted its rating from 101 to 106.

England began the series in fourth place with 109 points, but its rating fell by six points and it slipped to seventh in the table.
