Letters to the Editor
Sir, The constituents of the UPA are no longer behaving like allies. The CPI (M) is objecting to almost every decision of the Centre while the CPI has warned that the UPA Government will not last its full term if the common minimum programme is not respected. The relations of the NCP and the TRS with the Congress too seem to have lost their warmth. The RJD, for its part, is having "friendly fights" with the Congress in Bihar. The allies should remind themselves of their commitment to provide a government that is both stable and performing.
M.S. Sunil,
