Joining the million-dollar club...
CHANDIGARH,
FEB. 15.
With the rising profile of golf in the country, the top Indian pros are earning big bucks and giving stiff competition to the cricketers.
Indian professional golfers Jyoti Randhawa and Arjun Atwal, currently playing on the Asian Tour, have broken the glass-ceiling and crossed the million-dollar mark in career earnings.
Randhawa, with earnings of $1,226,007, is in second place after Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand ($1,427,270). Atwal is third with career earnings of $1,018,177.
The other Indian pro, Jeev Milkha Singh, is 16th with an earning of $616,187 on the list of 20 dominated by Thais, who occupy five slots. UNI
