CHENNAI, FEB. 15. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over North interior Karnataka, rose at one or two places over rest interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, fell appreciably at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, rest coastal Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region. They were markedly to appreciably below normal at a few places over Tamil Nadu at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, below normal at one or two places over Kerala, rest coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, rest Tamil Nadu, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over Rayalaseema and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Dharmapuri, Vellore and Parangipettai recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

Forecast (valid until Thursday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Forecast for Chennai City and neighbourhood (valid until Thursday morning): Mainly clear skies. Minimum temperature will be around 21 degree Celsius.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (valid until Thursday morning): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Sunny weather.
