Hinduja TMT to divest in Hutch
MUMBAI,
FEB. 15.
Following the consolidation of various Hutchison mobile telecom operations in India, Hinduja TMT, which held a stake in Fascel through its subsidiary IndusInd Telecom Network Ltd., has received 5.11 per cent of the voting rights or a 3.45 per cent effective financial stake in the consolidated Hutch entity, Hutchison Max Telecom.
HTMT has received offers from some financial/strategic investors to buy out its holdings in Hutchison Max Telecom, which are being evaluated for maximising shareholder returns. Our Staff Correspondent
