TIRUMALA, FEB. 15. A scooterist, P. Gopi (27), working in Vidyaranya Junior College, Tirupati, was killed in a road accident on the second ghat road leading to Tirupati this afternoon. According to the traffic police, the deceased, who was riding at a good speed lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a deep curve on the ghat road, 5 km from here, and hit an electric pole, sustaining serious bleeding injuries on his head. He was immediately rushed to the SVRR Hospital, Tirupati, where he succumbed to injuries. The police registered a case and investigation is on.
