KANCHEEPURAM, FEB. 15. Electrocardiogram (ECG) and CT scan were done for Ravi Subramaniam, accused-turned-approver in the Sankararaman murder case, in the Government hospital here today. He was brought to the hospital by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Narayanan, at 10.30 a.m. After the tests, he was taken back to the sub-jail at 11.30 a.m. The Kancheepuram Bar Association presented a memorandum, containing the resolution passed at a meeting held yesterday to discuss Ravi Subramaniam's petition to the judicial magistrate-I, G. Uthamaraj, seeking action against four lawyers in the Kancheepuram court. The president, Madanagopal, and secretary, Gnanasambandam, handed over the memorandum to the District Judge, G.M. Akbar Ali, at Chengalpattu. Nadira Banu and Revathi, advocates who, as per Ravi Subramaniam's petition, threatened him in the sub-jail and moved anticipatory bail applications in the Chengalpattu court. Ravi Subramaniam alleged that the two lawyers offered him a huge amount to turn against the police in the murder case.
