Tsunami relief

COIMBATORE, FEB.15. The district administration said today that tsunami relief contributed by 1,743 persons/organisations had touched Rs.2.35 crores. The contributions received by the administration today amounted to more than Rs.27,000. On Monday, the contributors included officials and staff members of the tahsildar's office in Tirupur (Rs.33,361) and Coimbatore West Traders' Association (Rs.25,000). The Coimbatore Grape Growers' Association donated Rs.1 lakh.
