Coir workers' stir ends

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 15. The agitation by coir workers of Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts that has been going on for the last over two weeks has been called off.

According to an agreement reached upon during talks convened by the Labour Commissioner, S. Sreenivasan, coir workers will get a hike of Rs. 15 in their daily wages.
