THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 15. A 27-year-old woman, who is an AIDS patient, has lodged a complaint with the Pozhiyoor police saying that her husband's relatives are harassing her. The complainant, Cicilete's seven-year-old daughter is also afflicted with AIDS. Her husband, Jose Antony, committed suicide three years ago after he came to know that he was suffering from AIDS. According to Cicelete, a close relative of her husband attacked her father and brother on February 14. Though the matter had been brought to the notice of the local police, no action had been taken, she said. Ms. Cicelete accused the Pozhiyoor police of behaving in a hostile manner. The Superintendent of Police (Rural), P. Vijayan, said the Circle Inspector, Parassala, had been asked to look into the matter.
