HYDERABAD, FEB. 15. Srilankan Airlines is offering 50 per cent off on tickets booked between February 17 and 28. One can go for exciting destinations like Paris, Hong Kong and Zurich at half the rate. Besides Colombo, Male, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, the offer is also on Srilankan flights to London, Bangkok and Tokyo. "It is a special promotional blitz, and through it we want to make Europe and Far East an affordable holiday option for our customers," said Lal Talgaswatte, manager, Western & Central India, Srilankan Airlines. He told presspersons here on Tuesday that the discounted rates for Far East started from as low as Rs. 5,870 to Colombo, Rs. 8,000 to Male, Rs. 9,880 to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. For Bangkok, the rate is Rs. 8,540, Hong Kong Rs. 11,560 and for Tokyo Rs. 18,820. The special fare to Paris and Zurich is Rs. 12,120 each and to London Rs. 14,190. These to and fro rates are applicable to customers from Hyderabad. "Once the tickets are purchased the outbound journey should be made by March 31," Mr. Talgaswatte said.
