Clear sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 35.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 16.7 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The relative humidity was 21 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 33.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 15.1 degrees Celsius.

The relative humidity was 17 per cent.

The forecast for Wednesday is: the sky will be clear and the minimum temperature will be around 17 degrees Celsius.

Vocational training

National Association for the Blind, Karnataka, and the Rehabilitation and Basic Training Centre are conducting a one-year vocational training from April 1 for visually impaired men and women in light engineering, weaving, re-caning of chairs, candle and coir making, chalk and camphor making for those in the 16 to 35 age group.

Training, accommodation and food will be given free.

Applications have to be sent before March 1 to the Manager, NAB Rehabilitation and Basic Training Centre, CA Site 4, NAB Road, Jeevan Bima Nagar, Bangalore 560075.
