Vinod Joshi scalps five

CHENNAI, FEB. 16. Vinod Joshi claimed five for six as Delhi defeated Haryana by 148 runs in the All India Postal cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Andhra's P. Vijayakumar made 113 as the side scored a six-wicket win over Gujarat and Tamil Nadu's B. Raju notched up 104 enabling the host to register a 146-run victory over Karnataka.

The scores:

Delhi 220 in 32.5 overs (Devender five for 41) bt Haryana 72 in 21.2 overs (Vinod Joshi five for six).

Gujarat 158 in 33.1 overs lost to Andhra 159 for four in 21.3 overs (P. Vijayakumar 113).

Tamil Nadu 288 for six in 35 overs (B. Raju 104) bt Karnataka 142 in 26.5 overs.

Assam 155 in 33 overs lost to West Bengal 156 for two in 22.2 overs.
