Thrilling win for Young Association

NEW DELHI, FEB. 16. Gurjinder Pal Singh (four for 28) and Sandeep Mishra (three for 21) shared seven wickets between them as Young Association defeated Central Bank of India by one wicket in the Elite group II match in the DDCA cricket league here.

The scores:

Elite-II: Central Bank of India 165 in 39.5 overs (Nitin Saini 61, Gurjinder Pal Singh four for 28) lost to Young Association 167 for nine in 39 overs (Amit Sharma 45).

Super Plate-I: BSNL 209 in 35 overs (Varun Kumar 95, Girish Kumar five for 43) bt Delhi Wonderers 166 in 33.4 overs (Sanjay Rawat 77).

City Gymkhana 91 in 27.3 overs (Paramveer Singh 48 not out) lost to Mishra Sports 92 for one in 19.1 overs (Rishi Bhardwaj 45 not out).
