Citizen to open more stores
COIMBATORE: Following the success of its `First Citizen' showrooms, Citizen Watches India is seeking to open shop in Madurai and set up its second showroom in Chennai, its Managing Director, Hideaki Nakazaki, said here. In town recently to inaugurate its 16th company showroom in R. S. Puram, he said the company was not in a hurry to see profits. "We are willing to wait...we are investing in a big way in India." On the anvil were stores in Calicut and Goa and an eco boutique in Bangalore. Despite the growing interest in the company's products, there were no plans to manufacture watches in India, he stated.
