Karnataka Bank hikes deposit rates

MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank has announced an upward revision of domestic term deposit rates with effect from February 21 on fresh deposits and renewals of maturing deposits. According to a release, the revised interest rates are: for 7-14 days 4.50 per cent on deposits above Rs. 15 lakhs, 15-45 days 4.50 per cent, 46-90 days 5.50 per cent, 91-179 days 6 per cent, 180-364 days 6.25 per cent, and one year and above 6.50 per cent. Senior citizens will get one per cent more on their fixed deposits and Abhyudaya Cash Certificate Deposit of one year and above maturity.
