PONDICHERRY, FEB. 17. The Chief Minister, N Rangasamy, will launch the self-assessment scheme for property and house owners at his residence in Delarshpet near here tomorrow. T. Diagarajan, the Commissioner of Oulgaret Municipality within whose jurisdiction the residence of the Chief Minister comes, said today that the Administration had ordered general assessment of the property and house tax by property owners after two decades. Mr. Rangasamy has come forward to set an example in this regard by making self-assessment of the tax payable at his residence here tomorrow.
