Vijay Kumar star of AG AP's triumph
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 17.
Vijay Kumar's hat-trick helped AG AP (Hyderabad) defeat AG Tamil Nadu 4-3 in the final of the IA and AD South Zone hockey tournament here on Thursday. Vijay Kumar scored in the 15th, 16th and 34th minutes, while the fourth goal was scored by Habeeb in the second half.
For AG Tamil Nadu the goal scorers were Moses (2) and H. Raja.
Ms. V. Vedakumari, IA and AS, Director Administration, NIRD, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
