Students given tips to hone skills

By Our Staff Reporter

TIRUPATI, FEB. 17. J.N. Reddy of Madras Academy of Excellence, Chennai, has advised students to unearth their dormant power to zoom ahead in the competitive world. He expressed concern that the present day youth, wandering in a confused state of mind, was giving less than its due to society.

Addressing an impressive gathering of students at a meet organised by the SVU College Old Students' Association at Sri Venkateswara University auditorium on Thursday, Mr. Reddy, himself an SVU alumnus, gave a few tips on improving handwriting, memory power and concentration. "Instead of browsing through the book for prolonged hours, you can get relieved of the fatigue and at the same time retain more stuff in your brain if you give a break at regular intervals," he said. He also explained how to remember a series of numbers and baffled the audience by giving a demonstration.
