APPSC exam rescheduled

HYDERABAD,
FEB.17.
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission today announced rescheduling of the written examination for non-gazetted posts from March 12 and 13 to the third week of April. The actual dates would be announced separately, a press release issued by APPSC said on Thursday. Dates of the written examination for medical services as well as gazetted posts would be announced separately in due course.
The written examination for non-gazetted posts had been rescheduled as the commission had to open both the gazetted and non-gazetted envelopes, separate and assign them numbers. Although both the applications and envelopes for the gazetted and non-gazetted posts were printed in different colours to avoid confusion, many candidates had inadvertently submitted applications for non-gazetted posts in the envelopes meant for gazetted posts and vice-versa.
